The Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival, May 31, June 15, and June 16

May 30, 2017

Note: Adventure Cycling does not condone riding down hills without brakes, handlebars, or a helmet ... just for the record.

The eighth annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival is the ONLY film festival in the U.S. to celebrate travel by bicycle.

This year, our featured film tells the story of a 77-year old Italian man who likes to ride down winding mountain passes — on a bicycle with no handlebars!  It truly has to be seen to be believed.  Also featured are three friends fat biking through a Himalayan winter, a life-changing bicycle commute in Kenya, and more.

It's a great time, and proceeds benefit Adventure Cycling Association and the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition, MassBike.com. Tickets available now for the showings in

  • Arlington, Massachusetts
  • Northampton, Massachusetts
  • Danbury, Connecticut.

Hello,

I am write you to propose a film (65 mins) about a bicycle trip around the world with two children born on the road. In 2004, we mounted our bicycles and headed off towards the Far-East to what would become a trip of a lifetime, full of surprises and uncertainties.

Our trip will have brought us across the 5 continents, made them travel through 60 countries and pedal a total of 75.000 kilometres. Both their children will see the day during their travels and will quickly join the adventure. Maïa was born in Belgium in 2007 and Unaï in Bolivia, in 2011.

This film invites you to taste the poetry of a wonderful journey full of humanity that brings you across the globe allowing you to witness their experiences, their encounters, the surprises and the beauty of the earth that surrounds us all.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely.

Andoni & Alice
