Baffling that you could feel cooler by adding a layer, but between decreasing solar and improving wicking action, these sleeves really work! Very breathable and comfortable, no noticeable sunburn after 4-5 hours in direct sun. Size M fits me well (snug but not restrictive) and they stay pulled up. 5'8", 140#. I have not tried them mountain biking but 5 stars for road biking.

These work great and allow me to use less sunscreen. They are very comfortable in hot weather and stayed up well. It was nice to have these as an option to wear with short sleeved shirts.

I bike in the Tucson area and these arm protectors are great. With an SPF rating of 50 my arms are protected and when wetted down they provide outstanding evaporative cooling. The elastic is rubberized and they stay up on my biceps with only slight slippage after 45 minutes of riding, but easy to pull back up while riding. Same for the leggings. These are essential for my riding with the sun and heat here in Tucson.

The ordering was easy. The item works exactly as expected. I use them to avoid using so much sun screen (SPF 50).
