The AC LowRider is incredibly solid and easy to install. It's designed to carry panniers closer to the ground; this lowers the center of gravity of the load and improves handling. Your front panniers will mount low, but maintain plenty of ground clearance, ensuring the panniers won’t scrape the ground. This is important as some larger front panniers might hit the ground when mounted on front racks that don’t offer as much ground clearance, this is especially true with 26” wheels. The AC LowRider's clever adjustable arm allows you to level off the top of the rack no matter the position on the fork. The spacer ensures the rack doesn’t damage the fork’s finish, whatever its shape.

Pretty easy to mount. I really like the adjustability of them to make them so bags hang at the right angle. They are from a brand I trust, and they served me well on my first bike tour with them (~300 miles on the FL Coast-to-Coast Trail).

Guess I'm a bozo because I couldn't figure out how to mount it. Had to take it to my bike shop for help. Other than that, it's light and holds up well. On my second week of the Trans Am, everything's good.

The mounting bar slides upand down a bit so u can mount it level, whereas some other racks may not sit parallel to the ground depending on your fork/eyelet placements. It is also very strong and light and works well with standard bungee and hook mounted panniers.

I used the rack recently on a S24O. Installation wasn't difficult after I figured out how to mount the rack on my Novara Randonee. The rack is very sturdy and worked great with my Arkel panniers. Mounting of the panniers on the rack was a cinch. Balance was still great, even with fully loaded panniers on the LowRider rack. I'm looking forward to many more adventures with the rack.
