Finding a good place to put my cycling shoes, whether at work or at home, has always been tricky for me. Since it doesn't take long for my shoes to work up a good stink, I need a space that either no one but me goes, or is large enough that a bad odor won't be too noticeable. For years, my shoes have gone near the kitty litter box, but those days may be coming to an end.
Stuffitts are cedar scented antimicrobial inserts for athletic shoes that also help them dry out when wet. The cedar scent overpowers anything I can produce under wet or hot riding conditions and the Stuffitts include a carrying strap so I can tote my shoes easily for events, or hang them up. They claim to be reusable for up to a year, and while I haven't had mine for that long, they seem to be going strong after about a month's worth of consistent use.
The Stuffitts for Shoes - Pro are ideal for cycling shoes and are available in three different colors (black, red, or pink). Once you've decided on a color, just use the size chart to find the size best suited for your shoes. These run $25 per pair and are ideal for anyone who doesn't want to be ashamed of the smell of their cycling shoes.
