The first wave of spring has arrived and it’s time to get that bike out of storage, lube up the chain, pump up the tires, and hit the roads and trails. Here at Adventure Cycling’s Cyclosource store, a slew of new gear has arrived to usher in the riding season. Here are a few of our favorites:
Planet Bike’s Cascadia Fenders
Spring means one thing — rain and lots of it. Grab a set of fenders and never worry about that stripe up your back again! The Cascadia Fenders are a durable, affordable, and attractive upgrade to your bike that will have you wondering why you weren’t rolling with fenders sooner.
Leave the batteries at home, folks! This all-purpose lantern is not only waterproof and floating, it runs completely off solar energy. Packing up flat and taking up a minimal amount of space, strap it to the top of your pannier during the day’s ride to soak up some rays and find yourself fully illuminated by the time nightfall rolls around in camp.
The newest addition to our arsenal of bikepacking gear is the Arkel Seatpacker. Fully waterproof and available in two sizes to suit your needs, it’s an impressive choice for the mountain bike excursions you’ve been planning.
The Day Pass and Rainier handlebar bags from Detours
A great solution for those springtime day trips and bike overnights when you just don’t want to fumble around with a whole lot of baggage. These two compact bar bags from Detours were designed with you in mind.
Of course, these are just a few of the new items we have added to the lineup at Adventure Cycling’s Cyclosource store. For gear insights, check out #cyclosource on Twitter. Enjoy your spring riding and as always, feel free to contact us if you want more info about a product.
