So your Dad lives the bike lifestyle? He walks around in his bike shorts. He keeps bike catalogs and magazines handy in the bathroom. He says helpful things like, “We should bring our bikes next time!”
Well, no worries! It's good to have a bike Dad. And you just might want to treat him right on Father's Day, hint, hint!
Here are some suggestions:
Tires, Tubes, and Inflation. Dad can always use more of the basics. Plus, loaded touring cyclists need a real tire pump to achieve adequate pressure after a flat out on the road. But, of course, Dad knows it has to be compact and light and that’s a lot to ask. Topeak has the solution.
Revelate Designs Gas Tank. Mounted on the top tube, Dad's ID, phone, pizza maker, and snacks will always be nearby. Just kidding, the pizza maker won't fit.
Sigma 8.12 Cycle Computer. Affordable and wireless. When the directions say, “Turn left on the double track in two miles,” Dad will be glad he had one of these.
Tifosi sunglasses. Fototec™ lenses darken in bright light and lighten in dim conditions.
Saddles from Terry or Brooks Is your Dad still riding that unremarkable saddle that came with his bike? If so, a top-notch saddle could be the perfect gift!
