Can You Help Us Reach the Finish Line?

June 14, 2017

“When I ride my bike, I feel carefree, confident, and just plain happy. I support the U.S. Bicycle Route System because it promotes universal cycling and the things needed to make cycling safer and more accessible, so that everyone can experience the fun and joy of cycling.” –Cindy Homan, USBRS supporter

We’re close! We are just $20,000 short of our $175,000 goal for the U.S. Bicycle Route System campaign, so we’re extending the campaign until June 30 to raise the funds. If you haven’t donated already, there is still time to say “yes” to building the largest bicycle route system IN THE WORLD!

For those who have already donated, we can’t thank you enough for your generous support!

Here’s a closer look at the numbers behind this year’s campaign:

  • $155,812 raised toward making cycling safer and more accessible all across the U.S.
  • 163 new miles designated this May on Pennsylvania’s U.S. Bicycle Route 50 (USBR 50)
  • 15 individual cycling enthusiasts matched your donations, dollar for dollar
  • 25 states now have at least one U.S. Bicycle Route thanks to Pennsylvania designating its first route
  • 896 individuals supported the campaign by making a donation
  • 42 pairs of limited-edition USBRS socks given away
  • 7 one-day match sponsors with a pool of $8,000 to match your dollars
  • 1 soon-to-be winner of the Sand County touring bike from Advocate Cycles. Donate $10 or more before June 30 and you just might be the lucky winner!

Adventure Cycling would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who has made this campaign a success so far!
