Cycling Gear for Valentine's Day?

February 6, 2018

Look close! That’s the Timber mountain-bike bell.

As Adventure Cycling’s new spring Cyclosource catalog begins arriving in mailboxes around the country, we hope you enjoy seeing some of the many new products. While you might not need anything new, remember, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and cycling gear is sometimes way better than a dozen roses.

We’ve added the all-new Jones SG 710 Loop H-Bars to our catalog. It’s the same great handlebar design as the standard Jones Standard 710 Loop H-Bar, but available at a lower price by using straight-gauge aluminum tubing in place of the custom-butted tubing.

If you travel often or just value your $2k+ bicycle surviving a year without scratches and dents, you might want to check out the many ways in which Bopworx can protect your bicycle.

If you have plans on riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route this year on its 20th anniversary, or anywhere off the beaten path, and wish to avoid being ambushed, Revenant style by an 800-pound grizzly bear, then the smart minds at Timber created the all new Timber mountain-bike bell (top photo). When turned on and allowed to ring, this bell allows you to make your presence known and ideally clear the trail ahead.

For the mechanical minds, or those who just want one small, compact tool to rule them all, the all new Crank Brothers Y16 Multi-Tool has you covered on nearly any trail-related mechanical issues for under $50.

And that’s just some of the many new items we found over the winter.

Happy cycling from your team here at Cyclosource!
