I’m a 66-year-old former randonneur who plans to finally finish riding the left coast of the US. Credit-card camping, with a lot of long days (most at least 60 miles, and some with 5,000 feet of climbing) probably averaging 11 or 12 mph, and only one day off in Lompoc. I’ve already booked my lodging and trains down and back, so everything is the first two weeks of May. If this coincides with anyone’s plans, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
