Soon to be 70 year old male looking for 2 to 3 touring partners for an approximately 700 mile self-supported cycle tour in Chile’s lakes region. I am arriving into Santiago on January 9th, 2026 and would like to begin with a few guided day rides in the Santiago area, then take a bus to or near Panquipulli. The tour would go through the following towns: Licanray, Coñaripe, Puerto Fuy, then back to Panquipulli, continue to Futrono, Lago Ranco, Entre Lagos, Ensenada and Puerto Varas. Rest for a few days and then cycle the route in reverse. I’ll be on a gravel bike set-up for cycle touring. I like to cycle for 3-5 days averaging 80km/day, then take a rest day or two, maybe go for a day ride. I like to camp mostly and occasionally stay inside. I estimate 3 weeks for the cycle tour.
