This 18-by-24-inch poster was designed by Lynn Kessler, an art school friend of Adventure Cycling co-founder Greg Siple, to promote the Bikecentennial ride. Co-founder Dan Burden credits it with launching the organization: "As people found the poster, they would send $10 or whatever it was. If you get hundreds and eventually thousands of people sending you money, you can pay the electric bill."
Only 5,000 were printed during its original run, and now we're releasing it from the Adventure Cycling vault in honor of our 50th Anniversary.
