USBR 40 in Washington is a small start to an ambitious route plan. The route begins in Tekoa and follows SR 274 to the Washington/Idaho border.
Eventually the final route is anticipated to span the state for approximately 400 miles to reach the Pacific Ocean. Much of the final route is likely to follow shared-use paths and other off-road facilities.
