Experienced, 72-year old cyclist looking for reliable individual for emergency on-road bike repairs (only if needed) during upcoming (April-May) loop tour of western Texas. For help with any problems I can’t fix on my own. I will prepay up to $400 just for availability, plus actual expenses (gas, your time) if incurred. To make this manageable, breaking this up into three 6-9 day segments within a two-hour drive time of your location. Need one person in each of three areas: Greater Del Rio (w to Sanderson), Alpine-Marfa (north to Pecos) and east/south of San Angelo. My wife is worried about this mechanically disinclined cyclist in areas far from any bike shop. Should know rim brakes and tubeless technology for touring bike. I will carry needed parts.
