I’m 63. Looking to take a northern route from Massachusetts/upstate NY to the Oregon coast. I’ve planned a mostly road route that will take the Erie canal trail then across southern Ontario. Will travel across Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Dakotas, Montana then to the coast. I figure to average about 60 miles a day, but I’m not in a hurry. It’s all about the ride and fun. I’m thinking of leaving the beginning of June and depending on weather and stops to be done by the end of August. I will be carrying camping gear, but I’m more than happy to stay at motels and alternative housing. Reach out if you are interested or will be out there on the road. Everyone have fun and be safe!
