Looking for other experienced, intrepid cyclists in the Washington, DC area willing to ride in less-than-ideal weather conditions for leisurely, socially-focused weekend day rides and occasional overnight camping and B&B trips along the local trails, in Northern Virginia’s horse and wine country, along the Skyline Drive, on the Eastern Shore, West Virginia, the Pennsylvania Dutch country of Lancaster County and more. Road cycling only. No gravel or dirt. Plentiful options for ice cream stops, burger joints, cafes, coffee shops, shaded spots beneath the trees, watering holes and the historic sites that dominate the Mid-Atlantic Region. Possibility of a multi-week trip in Europe as well.
