I am a fit (married, male) 70yo looking for cycling companion(s) for ~ 1wk bike touring trip in Austria ~ the first week in June. I am traveling to Austria, Slovenia, Croatia for a choir tour in mid-May that ends 5/28 in Vienna, and I am planning to extend my trip by adding a ~1wk biking tour. I am looking primarily at routes that would involve 20-50 miles per day with only modest elevation/climbing, e.g., Passau Germany to Vienna on the Danube Bike Path (7 nights / 8 days). I am open to alternatives within ½-day train ride from Vienna. My plan is to engage a tour operator for a self-guided tour that includes lodging, bike rental and baggage shuttling.
