I’m planning to ride the Golden Gravel Trail starting in MO in mid-July 2026 and would like to connect with others considering the route.
I’m an experienced gravel cyclist from Alaska, and this will be my first long-distance bikepacking route. I expect to ride at a moderate pace (roughly 50–70 miles per day, depending on conditions) and anticipate a mix of camping, Warmshowers, and occasional lodging.
Because portions of the route are remote, I’m interested in connecting with riders for planning, information sharing, and potentially coordinating through some sections for added safety. I’m not necessarily looking for a partner to ride together every day, but rather others riding at a similar time who are open to occasional company and mutual support.
My goal is to complete the route safely and enjoy the experience rather than follow a rigid schedule.
