My name is Matthew. I’m 57 y.o. and starting to plan bikepacking the Baja Divide, starting sometime in February of 2028. I’m a relatively fit, experienced cyclist. Did the GDMBR in 2025 and several local (California, Oregon, Washington) BP trips over the past several years. The Baja Divide has always been on my list, and my plan will be to time this trip with the start of my retirement from my career in K12 public education.

I would be interested in meeting a like-minded riding partner or two who would be interested in doing this with.
