Washington D.C. - Washington D.C. (378 miles)
Adventure Cycling Association
This route lies within a portion of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail corridor. These spurs begin in Washington, D.C., and traverse both sides of the lower Potomac River in the Northern Neck of Virginia and southern Maryland until reaching the Chesapeake Bay. The route passes many points of interest and historic sites that are associated with George Washington and the early history of the U.S.A. A short spur through Washington, D.C. connects to the eastern terminus of the C & O Canal Towpath. A 25-mile spur in Virginia's Northern Neck leads to the Rappahannock River bridge and points southward.

I live in Delaware, so thought this ride might be a good one for me. After reading about the roads and traffic, I'm not so sure. The map itself is very good and seems to have everything identified on it that needs identifying. Printing is very small for senior eyes, but eyeglasses correct that issue. The route includes a round trip out to Smith Island, but the boats to go there are only running intermittently, so I wouldn't count on that option.

Great map overall even for a "directionally challenged" person such as I.
Great details on traffic, Ferry schedules, contact numbers etc... well planned out daily mileage(s)
Down side, could have made it in 2 pages to allow enlargement of detail for "older eyes" for the price.
Bottom line, Very good product, worth the investment.
