All current members of Adventure Cycling (new, renewing, life members) can participate in the program. Clubs, shops, and corporate members are excluded from participating.
By entering this campaign you allow Adventure Cycling to release your name in promotional materials: both in print and web.
You must use one of the special campaign links or forms between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2015, to share Adventure Cycling with your friend(s), in order for you to receive credit for the referral and to be entered in Adventure Cycling’s Share the Cycling Joy Campaign. Each friend you refer using these tools qualifies you for one chance to win. The more friends you refer, the better your chances become. Referrals must be unique. Multiple referrals of the same person will not qualify you for more chances to win.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Non-members can enter Share the Cycling Joy Campaign by sending a self-addressed, stamped business size (#10) envelope to Adventure Cycling's Share the Cycling Joy Campaign, P.O. Box 8308, Missoula, MT 59807-8308. You will be sent official alternative entry materials. Only valid official alternative entry forms will be accepted, only one per customer. No reproductions will be accepted. All entries, including addressing, must be in entrant's personal handwriting. Send completed alternative entry forms to Adventure Cycling's Share the Cycling Joy Campaign, P.O. Box 8308, Missoula, MT 59807-8308. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 31, 2015, and received by January 7, 2016. Random drawing will be held on or about 30 days thereafter. No responsibility will be assumed for lost, misdirected, or late mail. You will then have the ability to refer people to Adventure Cycling and participate in the program.
Grand Prize Winner will be selected by random drawing from all entries received. For each new referral you make or gift you purchase, you will receive one chance at the Grand Prize i.e. if you refer in ten people you’ll have ten chances. Grand Prize is a Revolt 1 bicycle from Giant valued at over $1300.
Each month we will also draw a mini-prize winner (12 total) who will receive gifts from companies such as Cygolite, Arkel, Bike 2 Power, Osprey Packs, Jeff Jones, and others.
Decisions of judges are final. Winner will be notified by mail and phone, and will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, which must be returned within 14 days of date of notification or an alternate winner will be selected. If prize notification letter is returned as undeliverable or affidavit is not returned within the time period, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Adventure Cycling reserves the right to provide for a substitute prize (or prizes) of equivalent value if any of the prizes cannot be delivered. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner's name and likeness for publicity or promotional purposes without additional compensation or permission, except were prohibited by law. Winner will be announced in Adventure Cyclist magazine. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
Program is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. Adventure Cycling and Giant employees, board members, and their families are not eligible. Offer void in Puerto Rico, and wherever else prohibited by law. For a winners' list (available after 3/15/2016), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Winners' List, Adventure Cycling's Share the Cycling Joy Campaign, P.O. Box 8308, Missoula, MT 59807-8308.
