USBR 30 follows Pennsylvania State Bike Route Z, and connects New York to Ohio. It follows the shore of Lake Erie and includes the 3,200 acre National Landmark, Presque Isle State Park.
USBR 36 follows Pennsylvania Bicycle Route Y, and connects New York to Ohio. The route showcases industrial history, including the first underground mine, the first steam locomotive, and the first lighthouse on the Great Lakes.
USBR 50 connects Maryland to West Virginia through a variety of natural and agricultural landscapes, historical sites, thriving small towns, and recreational hot spots. It mostly follows off-road trails, including the popular Great Allegheny Passage, Montour Trail, and the Panhandle Trail. Amtrak’s Capitol Limited route parallels USBR 50 between DC and Pittsburgh and offers the opportunity for cyclists to carry their bikes on or off the train at any station.
