USBR 7 follows the Western New England Greenway (WNEG) in Connecticut along the Housatonic River through gently rolling terrain marked by farmland and river views. It connects to two covered bridges, the towns of Norwalk and Danbury, Lovers Leap State Park, and many hiking trails along the way.
