Summary: I more or less followed the bikecentennial route. I was on my own and of course it was difficult at times (and I had very little to spend) but I had a fantastic time. We are now planning a (shorter) ride with my family (4 daughters 13-18); Self-Planned

Motivation: challenge

Most Challenging Aspect:long bikeride, beautiful landscape

Favorite Experience: Crossing the Rocky's and the North Cascades. The bareness of Wyoming and Montana was also very impressive

Least Favorite: Truckers, dangerous descents on busier roads. The heat in Kansas.

Tips: Be prepared, don't underestimate, go for it and enjoy!
