Summary: I started with a grand tour of Denmark, next rode the coast of southern Sweden, ferried to Estonia, then rode into the vast enigma of Russia. Lastly I returned to Denmark via an inland route across southern Sweden.; Self-Planned

Health Issues: none

Motivation: I enjoy the cultures of Europe and I was intrigued to visit Russia.

Most Challenging Aspect:Getting a Russian visa required jumping through a lot of hoops. Cycling out of Moscow was a challenge, too.

Favorite Experience: Those wonderfully long summer days in the north.

Least Favorite: Two solid days of rain in Sweden (four days of rain were forecast, but it wasn't that bad).

Tips: Cycling is the best way to go in Europe. Camping and cooking your own food keeps costs low.
