Summary: From the immense sprawl of Bangkok on the coastal plain, I rode north through Thailand and Laos to China, then continued north into the icy peaks of the Himalaya and Tibetan Plateau, finally ending four months later in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.; Self-Planned

Motivation: To cycle from the tropics to the snowy heights of the Himalaya.
Most Challenging Aspect:Snow on some of the passes in spring, but roads were ridable.
Favorite Experience: Experiencing the transition of cultures and geography from the tropics to the Himalaya.
Least Favorite: Sloshing through the snow
