Summary: Yorktown, VA to Astoria, OR on TransAm Trail with Bikecentennial group.; Commercial Trip

How did ACA Help? This was a BikeCentennial trip.

Health Issues: Nothing serious.

Motivation: I wanted to do something big after graduating from college, before starting work.

Most Challenging Aspect:The hills in western Virginia and eastern Kentucky.

Favorite Experience: Cresting Togwotee Pass and getting a view of the Grand Tetons laid out in front of me.

Least Favorite: Pretzeling my rear wheel on the edge of the pavement. (Fortunately, a nearby resident loaned me his pickup truck and I was able to get the wheel repaired and rejoin the group before dark.)

Tips: Don't put it off - just do it! You'll never regret it.
