Summary: I started in Yorktown with my high school friend. We met our group of about 8 others and traveled to western Virginia. A few of the group continued and did the whole transcontinental trail. It was a great experience, friendly people , nice weather. It was a good mix of flat and gentle mountains.; Commercial Trip

How did ACA Help? Bikecentennial organized the trip. ...and did a great job.

Most Challenging Aspect:Riding in the rain in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Favorite Experience: My outstanding group and the beautiful horse farms we saw. Camping in a place called Bumpass. To a 16 year old that seemed really funny. It is interesting that I live near there now.

Least Favorite: Ticks, I had never experienced them before!
