Summary: A West-to-East Bikecentennial Camping group ride.; Commercial Trip

Health Issues: About 20% of west-to-east riders got some kind of food poisoning in Harrodsburg, KY. Fortunately, it was a rest day. Unfortunately, I was part of the 20%!

Motivation: Two things - Seeing a tabletop Bikecentennial advertisement on the counter of my local bike shop and the fact that I was graduating college and about to start a Ph.D. program.

Most Challenging Aspect:I was very sore the first two days because I had been sick just before the trip and hadn't been able to do any training.

Favorite Experience: (Tie) Biking through Yellowstone NP Meeting so many wonderful people along the trail (especially OR, KS, MO)

Least Favorite: (Tie) Getting sick in Harrodsburg, KY Being told we weren't welcome in at the local bicentennial July 4th celebration (in Debois, WY, I think)

Tips: This ride changed my life. You should do it!
