How did ACA Help? Maps and occasional accomodation

Health Issues: We were both sick from poorly boiled water on the way to crater lake - but with a tandem there was always one that could push us along!

Motivation: To add another long distance ride to our self planned trips in Europe

Most Challenging Aspect:Getting the bike built on time and keeping it together on the trip

Favorite Experience: Riding all day through complete wilderness without any noticable change - awesome!

Least Favorite: None - but a near miss was getting across the Golden Gate bridge at 10pm - we had to pick the lock on the pedesrian walkway to get access!

Tips: Get out thera and enjoy it!
