Summary: Commercial Trip

How did ACA Help? The original Bikecentennial Ride was meals, lodging, maps and a guide.

Health Issues: A sore butt and aching legs for the first week. Otherwise at 22 I was pretty healthy.

Motivation: the adventure and a great way to celebrate our county's 200 birthday.

Most Challenging Aspect:The first 3 days..we were exhausted each night and everybody's butt was sore. The third day it rained and we all wanted to quit but, nobody did...we all finished the entire trip!

Favorite Experience: Meeting people all across the country. Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable.

Least Favorite: Saying goodbye to my fellow riders.

Tips: take lots of pictures, keep a journal.
