Motivation: Wanted to bike across America. Bikecentennial made it easy
Most Challenging Aspect:Facing the fact of not having enough time to stay on trail and finish in 1976. Had to finish couple years later.
Favorite Experience: Rolling along and into Jeffery City on July 4 1976 after 130 miles. Camped in park, beer and pizza in doublewide type building. Life was good.
Least Favorite: Traffic on coast/ rednecks wherever they were
Tips: 1976 and original ride is gone. Make other ones happen
