Summary: We rode from Pueblo, CO to Yorktown, VA. Group of 11. Toured Makers' Mark Distillery in KY. Had so much fun I decided to ride the full transam 4 years later.; Commercial Trip

How did ACA Help? It was a Bikecentennial tour with a leader.

Health Issues: None.

Motivation: It was something to do.

Most Challenging Aspect:Climbing Mt. Vesuvius in VA.

Favorite Experience: Riding in Kansas. The people were wonderful.

Least Favorite: It rained the last night in Camp Chickahominy in Yorktown, VA and the next morning the ground was so muddy, that I had to literally drag my bike out of the camp. Other than that, the trip was all good.

Tips: I'd rather climb a hill than ride into a headwind. The climb will end, but the wind might not.

Date Entered: May, 2006
