Since the inaugural Bike Travel Weekend in 2016, over 18,000 people have gone on more than 1,800 bike overnights for Bike Travel Weekend. Bike clubs, youth groups, families, adventure buddies, and solo travelers will gear up to make 2018’s Bike Travel Weekend even bigger as they plan thousands of bike overnights in a favorite campground, hotel, cabin, B&B, hostel, or even a friend’s house — all on the same weekend throughout the world. Hundreds of Bike Travel Weekend volunteers are available to offer newbies bike travel advice and area-specific resources. Read the 2017 report.
Over the past two years, more than 20,000 people have pedaled in over 2,800 rides, making this the largest cycling celebration to and through parks and public lands ever. These rides include people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, making it one of the most broadly appealing cycling events anywhere. 2018 brings new discoveries and experiences in parks and public lands, whether it’s in a national park, state park, historic site, wildlife refuge or parkway. Participants have the freedom to make it their own experience and ride just a few miles or make it a century ride. Read the 2017 report.
Participants in both events are cycling, travel, and fitness enthusiasts and highly active bike and gear consumers. With each event experience tailored to participants’ abilities, interests, and location, your marketing reach will span the broadest possible audience for your cycling, travel, or lifestyle product. Connect with families, millennials, baby boomers, and every segment in between during the two most inclusive cycling events of 2018.
