Save the dates for Bike Travel Weekend, June 4 – 6, 2021, and Bike Your Park Day, September 25, 2021.
Meet up (9:00am) at the Environmental Center Trailhead follow the Poudre River paved trail to Lion's Park at Overland Trail Road. (Perk #1 available at Me Oh My Pie shop just off-route) Take Overland Trail Road south to Spring Canyon Park to the Fossil Creek Trail through Cathy Fromme Natural Area. Heading south on the Longview Trail ride through Hazaleus and Colin's Mariposa Natural Areas to Loveland. Take the North Loveland Trail to Boyd Lake State Park. Ride along the Front Range Trail following the westside of the lake shore. (Perk #2 available at Dazbog Coffee just off-route). Retracing our route along the shore of the lake we head north on paved trail to utilize the Power, Spring Creek and Poudre River trails to end at the Environmental Center Trailhead. Mileage for the whole route is in the 45-50 mile range. Options to shorten the length available at several locations enroute.
