Ride Description

The ride would entail riding along the North coast from Mckinleyville to Big Lagoon. I will be utilizing class 1 bike trails (Hammond Trail), side roads (Scenic drive & Patricks Point Rd), SR 101and I plan on stopping in Trinidad along the way. The roads are paved with sections of unpaved gravel (those are narrow single lane) and areas that are paved can be in poor condition. The campground is located at Big Lagoon, which is a approximately 2 miles north of Patricks Point.

The plan is ride to the Big Lagoon County campground, minimal fee for bike travelers and camp over night.
