This is an in-person ride. We will be driving out from Maryland to camp in Door County, Wisconsin. This weekend is the middle leg of a two week trip. We will be staying at different campgrounds and biking loops from there. We are driving, camping, and cooking most meals, in hopes of reducing the risk of being in contact with the virus. Mostly, paved roads with some crushed stone bike paths. Roads are mostly flat with a few hills. Hopefully, the pedaling will be easy. We will be bringing our mask and hand sanitizer. We just hope others in the area will keep the proper social distancing and wear their mask. The campground is just about full but we tried to select a site away from others at the end of a loop. Even though we are trying to enjoy a biking vacation while maintaining the guidelines, which may be more worrisome than the weather,it is still worth the ride.
Registration for this event is currently closed. Check back soon for the launch of Bicycle Travel Weekend for 2021!
