Save the dates for Bike Travel Weekend, June 4 – 6, 2021, and Bike Your Park Day, September 25, 2021.
The ride will start in Stanwood, WA at the Amtrak Depot or my house depending on interest.
The first day of this ride travels through the beautiful Skagit Valley which meanders through flat farm land. We camp at Washington Park in Anacortes, WA.
The second day of this ride travels onto Whidbey Island to Coupeville where we board a ferry to Port Townsend. In Port Townsend we will camp at Fort Worden State Park. This day has some rolling hills.
The third day of this ride has two options. One option is to ride 30 miles back north on Whidbey Island and camp At Deception Pass State Park making this a 4 day tour. The route traverse the same route covered the prior day so expect rolling hills. The other Option is to ride 61 miles back to the starting point in Stanwood, WA.
