September 26-27 I will ride my bike from Santa Barbara CA to Palos Verdes CA.
Saturday September 26 I will start from Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara CA utilizing a section of the ACA Pacific Coast Cycling route. The route is mostly paved road, some city streets, some bike paths along the water. The terrain is relatively flat and elevation is modest. I will overnight in Port Hueneme at a local hotel.
Sunday September 27 I'll complete the ride from Port Hueneme to Palos Verdes. Once I reach Will Rogers State Park I will be following the Marvin Braude Bike Trail, which follows the beach Strand (cycling lane) 21 miles to Torrance Beach. Once I reach Torrance Beach I will hop over to the Paseo de la Playa and which joins with Palos Verdes Drive West just before Malago Cove in Palos Verdes.
