Save the dates for Bike Travel Weekend, June 4 – 6, 2021, and Bike Your Park Day, September 25, 2021.
The ride starts off as a small gravel road but quickly deteriorates into an ATV trail. There are some wet areas to cross (may get wet feet). There is a gate at the beginning to ride around. A conservation officer informed me that the road past the gate is restricted to motorized vehicles but bicycles would be welcome. This makes for no competition for camp locations. The trail passes multiple lakes with opportunities to camp, but Greyowl Lake and the north arm of Lake Temagami likely offer the best senarios. There are no fees for camping on crown land.
Registration for this event is currently closed. Check back soon for the launch of Bicycle Travel Weekend for 2021!
