On Saturday enjoy an easy backroads ride through the flat, flat farmlands of the Skagit Valley. This is a good ride for beginners (but be sure you are comfortable riding 20 miles in a day). We will start in Mt. Vernon and ride north through Edison (great place for a snack stop) and back down to Bay View State Park where we will camp for the night. If interested, there may be an option to rent a cabin instead of camping in a tent (advance reservations required).
On Sunday we will check out the short Shore Line Trail and loop down through La Conner (another great place to stop for a snack or more), and then back up along the Skagit River to Mt. Vernon.
There are some additional loop options for those wanting to add a few miles to the day's ride.
2 people are joining this ride and are entered in the sweepstakes.
