Smooth dirt/gravel rail trail. Easy grade. Gravel bike or mountain bike with biggest tires you have. 40mm to 2.4 inch best. Beautiful camping on the Columbia River. Group hike and bike camping is inexpensive unless you have a vehicle to park besides a bike!
We start near historic Roslyn or you can camp the night before at my place. Porch or tent camp. And I have a Community Pool.
100% smooth dirt rail trails! I have done this ride before and literally saw only a couple walkers in two days!
You don't need much more than this short list:
Sleeping bag and pad (pad is optional as soft grass)
Food for a dinner, breakfast and snacks. (We can get lunch each day plus more food and water in Eburg and Kittitas). Beer and snacks near camping.
Questions, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have done many bikepacking and bike tours, from the Great Divide mountain bike route in 2016and 2019, the National Parks tour, twice on the Pacific Coast Highway and the Sierra Cascades Tour.
Registration for this event is currently closed. Check back soon for the launch of Bicycle Travel Weekend for 2021!
