My family, including extended family and friends, typically rally each year for a day bike ride. While nothing epic, the group can be as large as 25 riders. We pick paved routes, mostly away from traffic, that are not challenging elevation-wise and the distance never exceeds 25 miles. Routes are always loops or out and backs. Lunch is always a highlight.
Depending on the COVID-19 situation, we'll ride the Napa Valley Vine Trail which is part of the planned 47-mile multi-use path that, when complete, will connect the ferry building on the San Francisco Bay to Calistoga through the heart of Napa Valley's wine country. The planned route will be between the towns of Napa and Yountville.
