From Poulsbo, WA Riding back roads as much as possible we'll head to Port Townsend where we'll overnight for two nights. The first day we'll stop in Port Hadlock for lunch. Upon arriving in Port Townsend we'll check-in or drop off bags and then proceed to Fort Worden to explore and enjoy the sea breezes. On the way back an ice cream stop may be in order. For folks who really really want to camp there is the Jefferson County fairground campground
Saturday, we'll catch a ferry over to Whidbey island for a clockwise loop visiting Fort Casey, Fort Ebey . We'll spin up the west coast of Whidbey taking in great views of Admiralty Inlet. After visiting NAS Whidbey (I'll escort non military) we'll head into Oak Harbor for lunch before returning via very quiet and rural roads.
