This is a paved two way trip on the beautiful Ozaukee trail from historic Cedarburg, WI to Harrington Beach Campground in Belgium, WI. We will travel through the picturesque town Port Washington where we'll stop for lunch and sightsee in their portside park. Moving onto Harrington Campground we'll check in and collect ourselves, set up camp, cook dinner and play some games and chat. The terrain is mostly flat as it's a converted rail trail with a couple hills on either side of Port Washington.
If you're not interested in carrying your gear, ask a friend/partner/spouse who might be willing to drive up the gear for those looking for a lighter ride.
Ride Level: Easy, but be prepared for a 21 mile ride two days in a row.
Campground fee: $30/campsite + whatever WI DNR tacks on as a transaction fee to the site reservation.
If you bring a car, you will be required to have a WI parks sticker.
Registration for this event is currently closed. Check back soon for the launch of Bicycle Travel Weekend for 2021!
