Enjoy a delightful trek along the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, a beautifully maintained, 444 mile roadway and National Park! The daily rides will take us from the Natchez Grand Hotel , nestled on the bluffs overlooking the great Mississippi River, to Clinton, MS, home of the Mississippi College Choctaws, then on to historic French Camp, and finishing at the Park's headquarters in Tupelo, MS. Much of the route runs through very rural areas of Mississippi. The roads are smooth and nicely maintained with minimal traffic, lots of shade, and frequent park restrooms. The terrain is filled with gently rolling hills, providing plenty of variety. Daily mileage is between 85 and 95 miles, but the ride is well supported: SAG vehicles, food/fuel, hotels, and constant supervision. Tired cyclists can ride in the van. This ride benefits the Deep South Cancer Foundation's work in cancer research and providing cancer patient services.
