The BBB will be a bike trip from Woodbury to the Bicycle Bunkhouse in Dalbo Minnesota, and is about 73 miles. 25 miles will be on the Hardwood Creek Trail form Hugo to North Branch. The remainder of the mileage is on the road with good wide shoulders. Terrain is relatively flat and difficulty is dependent on the ability to ride the required mileage. Don Olson's Bicycle Bunkhouse is famous for being a stop-over for cyclists from the United States and many other countries cycling the Northern Tier Route. The BB, which is registered with, and on the ACA maps, is an amazing barn converted into a cozy two level, multi room facility with fully stocked kitchen, modern separate restroom and shower. Overnights are free to the cyclist and the food which is plentiful is very inexpensive. I have met cyclists from several other countries during my stop-overs at the Bicycle Bunkhouse. It is a good destination to meet and share stories with other cyclists, especially on Bike Travel Weekend.
Registration for this event is currently closed. Check back soon for the launch of Bicycle Travel Weekend for 2021!
