This event has kicked off summertime for over 10 years for a group of women from Missoula MT, starting from Pinehurst ID to Harrison ID on the Trail of the Couer d'Alenes, cars are left behind, we're self contained, over the years we've stayed in a variety of venues, including camping, motel on the lake and a B&B. We usually leave our gear in Harrison and continue riding to the Chatcolet Bridge.
Part of the Rails to Trails system, this 72 mile trail winds through amazing scenery with heron, pelicans and it's a rare trip that we don't see a moose! There's no charge to ride the trail, here's the link to one of several websites:
