Peter Wrenn of Michelin Maps North America and the Greenville local arrangements coordinator for the 2013 NACIS conference points out where he lives on the Map Quilt — a collaborative effort of NACIS cartographers — of the greater Greenville, South Carolina area.
I'm checking in from Greenville, South Carolina, where I'm attending the 2013 North American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS) annual meeting. l've already learned so much from my colleagues on the first day. I can only image what knowledge and new inspiration I'll bring back to the office next week.
A ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and regional meeting at Pedal Chic on Monday let me enjoy some beautiful weather and plenty of southern hospitality before the start of this year's meeting. I'll have a more complete report (and pictures!) once I've returned to Missoula.
