Themed Bicycle Touring

March 1, 2011

Yesterday, Mo and I were taking our picture in a photo booth (long story) and we started talking about how fun it would be to take a tour where the theme was photo-booth portraits. There aren't a lot of legitimate photo booths around anymore, so it would involve some research, but the results could be awesome: travel to some odd places we'd never have thought of visiting by bike, and a bunch of hilarious photographs.

Themed bike trips are always a great idea. Every year we have people come through the office who are stopping at every microbrewery along their route, or making sure to eat ice cream every day. Some people take a self-portrait every morning, or take pride in the fact that they never, ever pay to spend the night anywhere. Folks make the theme of their trip tasting wine, or visiting friends, or collecting stories. Are you planning a themed bike trip?
