Thank You for Being Part of the Montana Bicycle Celebration

August 3, 2016

Cyclists leave Travelers’ Rest State Park with their bikes decorated with cardboard horse cutouts after the Bitterroot Trail ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Thank you for making the Montana Bicycle Celebration a success. We enjoyed celebrating the 40th anniversary of Bikecentennial and bicycle travel with people from all over the United States and the world. Here are some highlights from the weekend.

Bonnie Leifer and Mary “Lindy” Lindemann (TAWK613 - The Loose Nuts) pause during their ride on the Bitterroot Trail.
Nicholas Carman and Lael Wilcox at the Friday reception outside the UC Ballroom.
Mark Baker sings “This Land is Your Land” along with speakers Erick Cedeno, Willie Weir, former Board President Carol York and current Board President Wally Werner.
A group of Bikecentennial friends enjoy dinner at the Saturday banquet at the Holiday Inn Downtown.
Cyclists enjoy the new Missoula-to-Lolo section of the Bitterroot Trail.
